---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you're new to this website, we'd like to say hello. We're don't want thousands of construction trucks running through our little residential streets. For a quick 'potted' history, click on "THE SHORT STORY" above, or click here. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You seem to have put lots here since I last had a look.
Your little film clip made me think .
If you do land up with all those trucks zooming around, you must insist that they are all legally roadworthy, you know, tyres and brakes and all that.
I've seen a lot of lorries with bald tyres and I'm sure it is not legal. This is very very important as you don't want to increase the chance of an accident.
You must get those people at CoFA to guarantee ALL lorries are legally roadworthy - and I would also add that all the drivers have the right licence.
We live in a small heritage precinct in Paddington, Sydney. But the community is under threat – from a conga line of thousands of heavy construction vehicles as COFA (the College of Fine Arts) and UNSW demolish and redevelop. We encourage you to read on, and comment on the blog - show your agreement, dissent, amusement, support and criticism.
If you have a story or letter you want published, email us.

Good luck with everything.
